We had a nice week talking about our feelings and giraffes, of course! The kids love knowing about animals.
This week we also focused on furthering independence (serving their own snack), playing some new games, and working as a group. Here are some photos of the process!
In Science class, we worked together to clean our dirty water using homemade water filters. In the end, I was able to drink some of the clean water, wow!
We liked learning about the giraffe and how they have a loooonnnngggg neck! We searched for long and short items in the classroom, then played a rolling dice game involving Math and coloring the giraffe's spots.
Then we put our learning into practice and made a giraffe with recycled toilet paper rolls!
The kids mastered the tongs for serving themselves a simple snack! Fantastic! (oops, just missed Putter and Preme, but they were totally fine with this!) Try it at home!
Annndd, here are just some cute photos from the week :)
Thank you for looking! :)
