We did lots of fun things this week! Check it out!
Here the students are decorating their very own mirrors using glue, buttons, sequins, and stickers--all by themselves! With every activity, we encourage independence and student choice. We did this after we had a Science lesson about reflections.
We talked about numbers 1 to 5 and did some matching activities with different manipulatives:
We learned about names of the four basic shapes and looked at all different types and where they could be found in the classroom! Some students already knew some names of shapes and could point to them when asked.
Experimenting with the paint! The kids really enjoyed this and were very happy seeing what happened when water mixed with different paints onto their paper.
Playing in the soft play room and outside! :)
I appreciate all the lovely pictures. Thanks for your effort to make parents informed about their kids' development.
