Book Week: Part 1

Good afternoon! 

Check out our Three Little Pigs activities that we have done so far this week! 

Of course, we must read the story again (and more) to maintain understanding! The kids love hearing the big bad wolf say, "I'll HUFF, and I'll PUFF, and I'll BLOW your house in!"

After story time, we took on the big task of making our own piggy banks! The teachers had to do the hot glue gun part, though. The end product looked great! 

 
 

During Book Week, we of course are focusing on some wonderful story books! We even had Mr. Renie read for us in the EY Library! 

We are using the Three Little Pigs to also learn more about mathematical concepts, such as big vs. small. 

 

Our word of the day is: house. This worked out well when we created the three pigs and their three different houses in our Art lesson!
