International Week!

Welcome back to the cutest blog ever!

We had a really great week learning all about the letter R, rainbow colors, and Italy!

Every student was wonderful this week, yet one little girl really stood out: Plern! Plern used her words a lot this week when always asking her teachers good questions and saying what things she wanted. She was also a great listener and helper! :)

We talked all about red rectangles and more in Math, and then rainbow colors in Science class! Playing with skittles was super fun!

Then in Art class, we talked about rice (yum!) and how we can make a rabbit with it (and a sock and elastics), and started using our new color books!

On Wednesday, the kids discovered several different colors from skittles candy. Together, we started an inquiry into how to make the colors change? We discovered that what we needed was water to change the skittle!

Through the use of colored water, we also learned about how flowers need water to drink, and watched how our white flowers turned into colored ones overnight! :O

This International Week was great! We talked a lot about pizza and pasta, which comes from Italy of course! Here are the photos from the activities we did to learn about the country, and also the photos from International Day on Friday, Feb.9th! :) Fun day!

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR HARD WORK!
:)
