Week 9 Update!

Welcome back to the Nursery blog!

It has been awhile since the last blog post, as everyone became sick very quickly last week!

Due to such a short week, I have chosen to wait until next Friday to give the new Star of the Week.

On Wednesday, we continued our learning about color change and the letter U! We did lots of fun activities around these themes and learned some new words!

This week, we also focused a lot on writing our names! The kids have done amazingly at this!

What's that up there??? We saw some strange things stuck onto the ceiling!

Let's walk under and jump over the paper chain!

We went outside to go under the playsets, slides, and then went to the swimming pool to
talk about what we could see underwater!

We learned about umbrellas by making them and going under one!

In our second Art class on Thursday, we made the cutest underwater fish pictures!

In Math class, we talked more about the quantity words alot & a little bit, and went outside to throw a lot of a little bit of water onto me while I was under the umbrella!

We also walked upstairs to search for shapes and numbers! What a fun time!

We learned about the difference between light and dark colors, and then we discovered how to make a dark color change into a light color by using white paint! Then we painted on dark paper!

And now to finish off this post with some great photos of Nursery students writing their
names (not all students wanted to do this)!
Have a nice weekend everyone!
